Throughout my academic career, I have learned about different research methodologies. These are some of my favorite topics I have worked on.
White Paper
This is the white paper report for my PRAD 555 - Public Relations Foundations class. We are tasked with researching into Allstate's current Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and proposing new initiatives to improve Allstate's IDE (Inclusive Diversity & Equity) efforts. The paper focuses on improving LGBTQIA+ initiatives within Allstate's corporate communications. I conducted different secondary research methods: literature review and content analysis, for this paper.
Research Analysis
As a final project for PRAD 585 - Research, Data & Insights class, my team and I was tasked to assess the gender disparity issues in membership for Chicago Fair Trade, the largest fair trade coalition in the United States. We conducted primary research over a two-week survey with 239 valid responses from the Chicago region to find the different behavioral attitudes toward fair trade products and communication messaging by gender.
Crisis Communication Case Study
This is the crisis case study presentation for my PRAD 540 - Crisis Communication Management class. My team and I chose the murder of Samantha Josephson by a person pretending to be an Uber driver in March 2019. We conducted content analysis from Brandwatch as our primary source to assess social media response to the case.
2024 Arthur W. Page Society & Institute for Public Relations Case Study Competition Submission
This is the original case study submission to the 2024 Arthur W. Page Society & Institute for Public Relations case study competition. My team and I chose Disney’s fallout with Florida Governor DeSantis as the final project for PRAD 564 - Business Skills for Strategic Communicators class. We conducted content analysis to identify the organization’s critical issue, business impact, and broader implications the case imposed on communications trends.
